Valentine’s Day is not just for couples, it is a happy holiday for singles and children too, especially when it comes to food. You can pamper yourself or somebody special with a box of pixie caramel from Fannie May. Or you may consider eating out and order steak and lobster for dinner at your favorite restaurant. And for those of us who like to cook, we are ready to roll up the sleeves and hit the kitchen with a bang on Valentine’s Day. Many creative foodies literally become gourmet chefs overnight. New Year, New Beginning


Happy Chinese New Year ! This important day is on February 19, 2015 this year. Almost spring time, yay. I can’t wait to see new leaves on the trees!

New year is always about abundant food and well wishes for family and friends. While we are in the festival spirit, don’t forget to make a new list of things to be accomplished this year. We then celebrate with more good food for each task fulfilled. I need to spend more quality time with myself and not let the petty stuff upsets me. Get clutters out of my way.
